REGARDING your report 'Battling for dads,' (LET, September 30), I am all in favour of what Bob Geldof says.
The women have had it too much their own way long enough.
I am speaking from experience - my son has been going through hell for two years and six weeks, waiting to see his children.
All he does is go back to court every few months and gets nowhere.
Now, I know there are good and bad dads; also good and bad mothers. But we keep seeing and hearing on TV that the children of estranged parents have a right to see that parent, and that their dad or mum has a right to see them.
So why is no one listening?
My son's ex-wife committed adultery. Right from the beginning she has been living with a bloke all the time.
I am the children's grandmother and I have not seen them all that time.
When I applied for access to my grandchildren I was sent several papers and one said I would have to pay £19 monthly.
It is certainly time someone stood up for dads who do not see their children.
