DENZIL Hart is the new manager of North West Counties' League side Colne.
Hart, from Radcliffe, near Manchester, takes over from caretaker manager Ken Bracewell who stepped into the Holt House hot seat after Keith Mason's departure last month.
With experience at playing and management level in the NWCL and UniBond League, Hart was the unanimous choice of the Colne committee.
Chairman David Blacklock said: "We're delighted to be able to say that a man of Denzil Hart's standing in non-league is taking charge at the club.
"There was a lot of interest in the post and a lot of fine candidates.
"Denzil stood out and we are sure he will ably assist this club in establishing itself in North West Counties.
"He's under no illusions about the task he faces but, like everyone involved in the club, is prepared to meet the challenge."
A former player for Ashton United, Mossley and Hyde, Hart was managing Stockport Georgians from the start of this season.
