FIREFIGHTERS have warned against the danger of building early bonfires after attending two fires close to buildings on the same night!
One appliance was called to a fire next to a building on Norwich Place, Avenham, at 8.30pm on Monday (October 21), and just a few hours later attended a bonfire on East Road, Fulwood.
Station Officer Holden, of Preston Fire Brigade, said: "We would encourage people to think about the proximity of buildings and any other hazards.
"And people should think about not building bonfires until closer to November 5," he added.
