A LOCAL junior football team is seeing red after Royal Mail stepped in to repaint their team coach.
The firm organised for paint sprayers to respray the Ribbleton Red Robins minibus from blue to red after a club appeal.
Team manager Geoff Clarkson said: "We felt that it should be re-painted red to match our name.
"We are very grateful. Without people like Royal Mail we would not exist," he added.
Alun Roberts, Royal Mail Area Manager, (pictured with the team) said: "We were only too delighted to be of help."
The Robins are youngsters aged 13-17 who play football to raise money for Christie Hospital to help children suffering from cancer. (R/8462)
