THE Blackburn family are 'all shook up' after their beloved parrot Elvis flew the coup.
Distraught Beverley Blackburn, a self-confessed Presley fanatic, who named the Amazon oranged-winged parrot after her idol, admits 'it's now or never' if Elvis is to survive the cold weather.
She said: "I'm devasted. Elvis flew out of an open window over a week ago. We have to find him soon if he is to survive."
So far the family of Seascale Close, Blackburn, have scoured the area, contacted veterinary surgeons, pets shops and even alerted police stations in a 40-mile radius of Blackburn - but all to no avail.
