WARRIORS U8s played away against West Bank Bears in the closest result of the season so far, the result being 26-28 West Bank Bears. Man of the match was Matt Shepherd, with top tackler being Richard Browne.
A closely contested game saw Warriors U12s draw 22-22 with the West Bank Bears from Widnes. Both sides tackled well and ran with determination.
Scorers were man of the match John Cookson, best tackler Paul Lorensen, James Cowburn and Stewart Duckworth.
Warriors played away at Pilkington Recs in St Helens against a team who adapted better to the foul weather.
The Leyland team failed to control the ball and lost the game 38-8 against a home team who maintained a higher work rate.
Man of the match Tom Puddy was outstanding in attack, while Chris Smith deserved the top tackler award. Warriors' only points came from tries by Greg Baron and Danny Jones.
The U14s lost 34-4 away at league leaders Blackpool Scorpions. The final score did not reflect how well the Warriors had played with Stephen Gazal scoring Warriors' only try. Stephen Gibson was man of the match and Daniel Wright, outstanding in defence was top tackler.
