A FEMALE shop assistant was left traumatised after two robbers burst in and threatened her with a crowbar.
The 48-year old woman was alone behind the till in Joe's Mini-Market in Wythburn Crescent, Clinkham Wood when the pair entered the shop at about 8.30pm on Friday, October 18. Both wore stockings over their faces and black bob caps and one of them brandished a crowbar which he threatened the woman with.
She stepped back from the till and one of the men climbed over the bar but after several failed attempts to get it open he picked it up and the pair then ran out of the shop and made their escape in a dark-coloured Ford Escort.
She described her attacker with the crowbar as white, between 5ft 9 and 6ft tall, slimly-built and clean-shaven. He wore a black shirt and jeans. The other man was about 6ft 2ins and white.
