ORGANISATIONS in the Leigh area who offer services to ethnic minorities are being asked to let the council know.
For the Social Services Department is compiling a new directory of services offered across the borough by various groups and organisations.
But so far very few ethnic minority groups or those working with them have been compiled.
Karen Crompton, Directory co-ordinator, said: "Tell us what you do and we will make sure that the public, including of course members of ethnic and cultural minorities, get to know too.
"We want to hear from any organisation, large or small, who provide any kind of service for people with minority cultures.
"We hope very much that these groups will want to be in our new directory so that it can offer a complete information service to everyone in the borough. Being in the directory is entirely free."
