WHAT can be done to make your life better?
That question will be put to Burnley people in a big survey on how the borough council should spend the money it won from the government's urban regeneration challenge fund.
Some 800 people will be interviewed face to face for their views on Burnley council's programme of investment in business, job training, crime prevention, and other areas.
The results of the survey will show how successful the schemes have been so far, and will provide the basis of future regeneration schemes.
Key quality-of-life factors are likely to include health, jobs, housing, crime and environment.
Councillor Kath Reade, challenge fund chairman and council leader, said: "The whole purpose of challenge fund work is to create training and job opportunities and improve Burnley people's health and welfare.
"There are still five-and-a-half years of the programme to run and we will be using the information gathered in this survey to help us make decisions about how the programme is managed."
