GRAEME Le Saux looks set to make his first Premiership appearance since suffering that horrific ankle injury against Middlesbrough last December.

Tony Parkes revealed that Le Saux would travel with the squad.

And that signifies that the England full back could be ready to take the plunge against West Ham at Upton Park tomorrow.

He is well ahead of schedule, as it was initially feared he would be out of action until December at least.

Parkes has little time to make major changes to the side but I expect him to make some small adjustments, both in personnel and formation.

Billy McKinlay, out of favour in recent weeks, could find himself back in the fold and both Stuart Ripley and Graham Fenton are available again after injury. But Chris Sutton is still ruled out by illness.

Parkes said: "We only have 24 hours before the game so we can't change all that much.

"But there are one or two things we can do.

"I remember Ray saying that it was like mission impossible when he took over from Kenny, so where does that leave me?

"But I am employed by the club and I'll get on with it.

"Sometimes when there is a change like this, it changes other things, like the thoughts of the players.

"Hopefully, they will respond, because we need them to have that spirit of togetherness if we are to have a chance of doing something. Rovers had to delay naming the squad but West Ham's starting line-up is expected to come from: Miklosko, Bowen, Rieper, Bilic, Dicks, Lazarides,Moncur, Bishop, Hughes, Porfirio, Dowie, Raducioiu, Breacker, Futre.

Meanwhile, reports last night that Tim Flowers was poised for a move to Middlesbrough, in part-exchange for Nicky Barmby, were rubbished by both clubs.

The story was rife in the North East but Boro chief executive Keith Lamb said: "There is absolutely no truth in the reports. We have not spoken to either Flowers or Blackburn over a transfer."

Rovers' Premiership game against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, scheduled for Saturday, Nov 23, has been put back to Monday, November 25 (kick-off 8pm) for "live" coverage by Sky.

Rovers A team visit Manchester United tomorrow. The B team are at home to Liverpool.
