P NEWTON'S letter (Letters, November 14), is one of many I have read by this person. I for one tire at reading his every excuse why blood sports are to be justified.
As far as fox hunting is concerned, the fact that Reynard can run fast and has learned (to some extent) how to evade being ripped to pieces, makes him an ideal candidate for 'a good day's sport.'
Isn't that the real reason why foxes are persecuted?
The propagandists of the blood sports fraternity can spout till their faces turn to the colour of the blood of their victims.
