HOPPERS promotion drive regained its momentum, beating Kendal 13-19.
Steve Kerry kicked his usual early penalty before a brawl erupted in the 12th minute. Kendal were the initial offenders but no cards were deemed necessary.
A Hudson penalty for Kendal was answered in kind by Kerry before the half ended controversially with Hoppers being awarded a penalty try. Kerry converted.
With man of the match Phil Crayston dominating the line out, they were never short of possession. A consolation try for Kendal's Steve Healey which Hudson converted meant that the final scoreline did not reflect Hoppers superiority.
