THREE BLACKBURN Rovers stars were taking different types of corners when they tried their hands at racing Scalextric cars round a special track in Blackburn Shopping Centre.
Boy racers Colin Hendry, Billy McKinlay and Jeff Kenna put their fingers down on their hand controls when they raced each other on a 10 by 20 foot replica Brands Hatch Racing Circuit in Victoria Court.
The Rovers grand-prix was part of a week long motor racing promotion organised by Peter Jackson Jewellers which ends on Saturday (November 16).
But the real gem of the week, was a £250,000 Formula One racing car on loan from the McLaren team, a must for all motor racing fans.
