EX-SOLDIER Soldier star Robson Green - no 1 in the charts with pop duo Robson and Jerome - is set to be interrogated by fledgling DJs aiming for the big time.
Robson's the first celebrity interviewee to feature on the Blackburn college's new in-house radio station Overload.
This week the media studies department started making soundwaves as they went on air for the first time.
Teams of 16 to 19-year-olds are taking it in turns to plan and produce their own radio programmes as part of their studies.
They will broadcast throughout the college during morning and lunch breaks.
Media technician Sue Devaney said: "The content of the radio programmes are completely in the students' hands. They will be providing news, sport, reviews, competitions and interviews.
"Media studies is a relatively new course but it is becoming very popular. We hope that the radio station will remain operational for a long time."
