LEIGH RMI moved into fourth place in the Unibond Division One after beating Gretna 2-1 - their fourth straight league win.
Second-half goals from Chris Bermingham and Chris Shaw were enough to make it 12 points out of 12.
"It was a good, even tussle in the first half but we cut off their service mainly through our strikers working hard," said delighted manager Steve Waywell.
"We expected them to come at us early on, but we defended well. And when we turned around level at the break I thought we were in with a good shout."
Dave Felgate played his part in keeping it even at the interval. He pulled off a fine save at the foot of the post from Duncan Armstrong after only five minutes before turning a Sang drive away for a corner on the quarter-hour.
Three minutes later Keith Evans should have put RMI in front when poor defending gave him a good chance to beat Glen Johnson, but he shot wide.
The Railwaymen broke the deadlock on the hour with a move started and finished by Bermingham.
Shaw sealed it 15 minutes from time with his 11th goal of the season, rounding Johnson from Dave Ridings' through-ball.
