DETECTIVES this week continued their hunt for the vicious killers of 92-year-old spinster Ellen Bootle.
But, despite a £5,000 reward being offered by Greater Manchester Police, the case remains unsolved.
The murder hunt centres around sighting of two youths, aged about 19 and 15, who were seen running away from the murder scene in Hope Street, Leigh, on October 24.
Ellen was badly injured after being mugged for her pension money of £64.74p which she had collected from Silk Street Post Office just minutes before her attack.
