FA CUP magic - or misery - comes to Turf Moor on Saturday when Burnley take on third division Lincoln City.

If the Sincil Bank outfit reproduce the form they showed against Southampton on Tuesday, they could well upset the Clarets - especially as Adrian Heath's team seem to have developed a habit of under-performing against supposedly lesser opposition.

Gareth Ainsworth's ninth-minute strike gave Lincoln the lead in their Coca-Cola Cup clash with Graham Souness's side, who left it until the last 15 minutes to score three face-saving goals.

Heath will not be over concerned about the injury list as he picks his team for Saturday. Vince Overson (hamstring) and Mark Winstanley (gashed leg) are receiving treatment along with Chris Vinnicombe and Liam Robinson, whose long-term groin injury is near to being fully healed.

More worrying is the team's inconsistent form - but a cup tie is the perfect opportunity for players to rediscover the right playing attitude.
