HASLINGDEN player-boss Steve Parry has done his homework prior to his side's FA Vase tie against Trafford at Ewood Bridge.
The visitors have been flying high in the NWCL Division One this season and Parry knows it will be tough for his side.
"We have watched them a couple of times recently and they are a good well-organised side," said Parry.
"Their midfield is very strong and there is a lot of experience in the side.
"But they can be beaten there is no question about that.
"We have to try and restrict them where they are strongest."
Parry recalls Andy Rouine, Darren Norman, Wayne Howarth and Danny White to the squad that won at Maghull last week.
1996 FA Vase finalists CLITHEROE hit the Wembley trail tomorrow with a testing second round tie at Vauxhall GM.
"It's a really tricky fixture but we are playing well enough to go there and get a result tomorrow," said Blues joint-manager Gary Butcher.
"We have already played Vauxhall and we didn't do too well. It was probably our worst performance of the season.
"We were trailing with five minutes to go and managed to get two goals to get something out of the game. "But if we can win at Vauxhall then I think we can go a long way in the competition again."
ACCRINGTON STANLEY extended their unbeaten run to seven matches in all competitions after their 6-1 midweek win over Blackpool Rovers.
Manager Tony Greenwood appears to be fashioning a formidable outfit at the Crown Ground, and tomorrow, they entertain struggling Witton Albion in the UniBond Premier League.
Pete Smith's first full match on Wednesday after a six-week lay-off with knee ligament problems brought him a goal from the very first corner, while in-form Brett Ormerod was deservedly given the man-of-the-match award.
Greenwood's injury situation looks altogether better now, and the club are also untroubled by suspensions to hamper team selection.
Stanley face either Flixton or Warrington Town in the third round of the UniBond Challenge Cup in early December.
Improving ROSSENDALE UNITED take on Atherton Colleries at Dark Lane tomorrow.
Manager Micky Graham wants his side to build on a magnificent 2-0 win at Mossley last weekend. He said: "Things are improving slowly. We've added quite a bit of experience to the squad and that has helped us a lot.
"The victory at Mossley was a super result and we want to build on that."
Graham was hoping to add Curzon Ashton defender Warren Peak to his squad for tomorrow and is also tracking two strikers. "I'm hopeful that we'll be able to add a couple of new faces to the squad."
NELSON player/manager Ian Britton eagerly looks forward to getting his players back into action when the NWCL Division Two side travel to Oldham Town tomorrow.
On duty after the disappointment of their postponed match against Holker OB in midweek, will be the same squad which put six past a bemused Stantondale without reply last Saturday.
One notable absentee from last week's fine win was influential Tony Fitton. He's now back in contention after being sidelined with a deadleg picked up against Leek CSOB 10 days ago.
Goalkeeper Trevor Hanson has come into the first team in impressive style, and enjoyed a run of three wins and a draw.
"He's sometimes not had a lot to do," said Britton, "But what he's done, he's done really well."
Neville Roscoe - out for two months with a dislocated shoulder - also looks set for a return tomorrow for Nelson Reserves in their home fixture against Salford City. With their first win under caretaker-manager Steve Doyle in the bag, CHORLEY'S confidence should have been lifted for a tough task when they travel to Guiseley tomorrow.
But, at the same time, it offers the Magpies a chance to make significant progress in the Unibond League Premier Division table.
And it would also enhance Doyle's standing at the club if they can put together a run of victories.
RAMSBOTTOM UNITED'S NWCL Second Division match against Leek CSOB at Harrison Park tomorrow is 'doubtful' due to the state of the pitch.
It was covered by two to three inches of snow at time of going to press and Ramsbottom secretary John Maher said the match is "more likely not to go ahead than go ahead".
Left back Mike Langhorn came through a reserve match last weekend but is short of match practice. All regular members of the squad are fit.
DARWEN are at home to Bootle tomorrow in NWCL First Division action.
Martin Horsfield will feature in his first game back following suspension after the midweek fixture was cancelled due to the weather.
Otherwise Ian McGarry's squad is the same as last week. AFTER the magnificent midweek success over Marine in the ATS Trophy, GREAT HARWOOD will be hoping for a similar level of performance in the league tomorrow at Farsley Celtic.
Forward Shawn Bursnell is suspended for one game and Neil Otley is out with an injured knee.
"Everyone at the club has been lifted by the win against Marine," admitted player-manager Martin Eatough.
"But it's important we get our feet back on the ground for tomorrow's match."
Great Harwood are away to Knowsley United in the third round of the League Challenge Cup.
COLNE are back in NWCL Second Division action tomorrow when they travel to Skelmersdale United.
Martin Trector is doubtful with a groin injury but he may make the bench.
Left back Simon Smart has been released by the club.
"I'm still working on trying to bring in reinforcements," said manager Denzil Hart.
"But it's difficult at this stage of the season."
