A LETHAL chemical that can give off cyanide gas was found dumped yards from a busy moorland road.
Emergency services had to seal off the area around Jill's mobile cafe, off Stones Bank Road, near Darwen, to deal with the danger.
About 20 kilos of the valuable and potentially lethal chemical were found abandoned behind a wall. Experts said that the rare substance used to make plastic gives off cyanide gas when set on fire.
