A MAJOR event to help companies find out more about new technology and how it can help them will be staged later this week.
Demonstrations on video conferencing, the Internet, computer-aided design and wireless communications will be featured at the event on Thursday at the Blackburn Technology Management Centre.
The Technology for Business event is being organised by Blackburn's Economic Development Department with backing from Blackburn City Challenge, Blackburn Regeneration Partnership and Lancashire Enterprises plc.
As well as the opportunity to see technology in action, the event will include free seminar programmes, advice on new technology and its uses, the availability, local grants and training help available.
The event will run from 12 noon to 8.00pm and visitors are welcome to drop in at any time.
