TWO roofers had to jump for their lives when scaffolding collapsed beneath them on the old court building in Lancaster Road, Preston.
John Morrison, 26, from Preston, and his colleague from Salford, Michael Crumlise, 30, leaped on to a roof below. Michael, who suffered a suspected broken foot, had to be treated on the roof by paramedics before firefighters lifted them to safety.
