A LIFE-saving major incident support unit worth £65,000 was handed over to Preston Fire Station on Friday.
The new equipment includes an all terrain vehicle and trailer, inflatable dinghy with outboard motor, a portable shelter, electricity generator, mast lights and spreading and cutting tools.
It will be used for traffic accidents or any situation when victims have to be cut free or rescued from their vehicles.
