SNOOKER celebrity Stephen Hendry MBE presented a cheque for £2537.50 to Leukaemia Research on behalf of The Blue Anchor, Eccleston, at the Preston Guildhall on Monday.
The large amount raised is the result of a fun-filled year of fundraising events and hard work by the licensees, Mary Flanagan and Charlie Adams, together with a team of people dedicated to raising money for this worthy cause.
Both Mary and Charlie thank everybody who have helped them in any way to raise this marvellous sum for Leukaemia Research.
The licensees have now completed three years of fundraising for this worthy cause, each year more or less doubling the previous year.
