TWINS Olewale and Oledotun Rominiyi are featuring in the best of Charles Dickens.

Westleigh High's production of "Oliver" ended a super successful three-night run this week - sold out every night!

Nigerian-born Olewale took the title role while twin brother Oledotun played Oliver's grandfather.

Kirsty Smith, who has appeared in shows both in and out of school, played Nancy while Gareth Elsby's portrayal of Fagin was described by producer Jon Taverner (chief examiner for drama for the Northern Examination Board) as "outstanding for a boy aged just 16."

Ben Rigby, a senior prefect, gave an endearing and and comic performance as the Artful Dodger while Scott Williams was strong and sinister as Bill Sykes.

The cast were trained in singing by head of music Carol Biggs. Other principals: Mark Richards, Kerry Leigh, Michael Waterworth, Sylvia Berry, Martin Walker, Paul Hickson, Miranda Lowton, Lisa Herbert and Nicola Gregson.
