BUDDING performers will be set for the dizzy heights of stardom thanks to a new major TV series, Stuart's Hall of Fame.

Talented, but still undiscovered entertainers will be given the chance to perform in front of live audiences at Manchester's award-winning Granada Studios Tour.

The weekly show will be hosted by Stuart 'It's a Knockout' Hall and is set to be broadcast on the new Granada Plus Cable and Satellite channel.

Among the lucky few who have already been chosen to strut their stuff on camera is ten-year-old Daniel Fard of Thornton, Blackpool.

The gifted youngster, who enjoys singing and playing the piano, captured the studio audience with one of his original compositions, Hearts are Bound.

Daniel is no stranger to the fame game, having won the Pebble Mill Song for Christmas competition in 1993 at the tender age of seven.

Daniel is in his final year at Carleton Green School near Blackpool and longs to be rich and famous when he grows up.

Daniel's mum said: "Daniel never seems to get nervous, he is usually a natural on the stage ... but the three-hour delay on the day didn't seem to help his confidence.

"He just takes everything in his stride."

Visitors to the Manchester attraction have the chance to watch the filming first hand, cheer for their favourite act or even take part themselves.
