TEACHERS from 40 schools attended an open day at Burnley's new Turf Moor stadium.
Community officer Bob Oates said: "We invited schools along to see the new facilities we now have at the club and to see the activities in the community programme.''
The teachers were shown around the new stands and executive facilities.
They also saw youngsters from Todmorden Road Primary School, Burnley, at a coaching session in the gym and pupils from Rosehill Primary School, Burnley, at a learning-through-football day in the purpose-built classroom.
Mr Oates said: "There was a very good response from the teachers.
"They felt it was very worthwhile and that they had learned something themselves about the activities and facilities we have to offer.
"About 40 schools were represented from as far afield as Skipton.''
