MERSEYSIDE police have planned a series of crime prevention advice days at Prescot and Huyton.
The police will be at Dales Car Park in Huyton between 10am and 2pm on Friday, December 6, and at Leyland Street, Prescot, between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, December 7.
Detective Sergeant Paul Ainscough of Huyton CID and Constable Arthur Brocklehurst, the area crime prevention officer, along with uniform police, will be on hand to offer advice if requested and to make a welcome free cup of tea if desired.
The days - which are being sponsored by Alex Stewart (Assayers) Ltd. of Kirkby who have supplied marker pens for the events - are aimed at informing members of the public about securing their property and making life difficult for thieves.
