A SUBSTANTIAL haul of scuba-diving equipment and powertools was stolen from a garden shed in Litherland Crescent, Haresfinch, between Wednesday, November 20 and Thursday, November 21.

The diving equipment, contained in two large bags, included a Northern Diver Neoprene dry suit and bag; a buddy slimline TD stab jacket with direct feed; Poseidon demand valve and Octopus US diver's demand valve; triple gauge console depth timer; two snorkels; two pairs of fins; two torches; two knives; a surface marker buoy and reel; a delayed surface marker buoy and three bags.

The stolen powertools included a Makita two-speed drill; Black and Decker circular saw; Black and Decker grinder; 240v-110v transformer; and a Makita battery cordless drill in a metal case.

All the tools were marked with seven dots in the shape of a letter H.
