BURNLEY make the long journey to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday in search of more away-day success.

Adrian Heath expects to have a fully fit squad to choose from as the Clarets look to continue their climb up the second division.

Now is the most promising phase of the season so far, and with new recruits Glen Little and Alfredo Bissani all ready to join the club, exciting times could lay ahead. Burnley need to avoid defeat to make sure they don't crash back down to earth.

Plymouth, fifth from the bottom of the table, are not enjoying the best of seasons - but any team that underestimates them could be in for a shock.

Assistant manager Mick Jones said: "We are playing well and if we maintain standards and we have a little bit of luck then we can take teams apart."

Heath is set to sign Little from Northern Ireland team Glentoran for around £100,000 by tomorrow (Friday), while Bissani, experienced Serie A player, is still trying to impress the manager into signing him too. Rumours of a £ million bid for Kurt Nogan by struggling Manchester City, meanwhile, have been dismissed by Turf Moor.

Liam Robinson, David Eyres, Paul Barnes, Nigel Gleghorn and Marlon Beresford all look likely to be back in contention this week.

Heath said he was looking forward to a lively game. "We know it's going to be difficult," he said, "but we are in good form at the moment."

Burnley play Walsall away in the next round of the FA Cup on Saturday December 7.
