BURNLEY'S Employment and Training Charter, which encourages firms to offer work to unemployed people, is celebrating its 250th job success.
Mrs Yvonne Lucas is the latest recruit at Burnley electric blanket manufacturer, Burco Dean.
Her husband, Stephen, also found a job at the Langham Street, Rosegrove, factory thanks to the Charter initiative which has cash backing from the council's Challenge Fund.
To mark the 250th job milestone, Charter project manager, Chris Smith, will present Mrs Lucas with a gift token.
