A HISTORIC building in Preston is now the home of an exciting new bar which has opened bringing 60 new jobs to the area.
The Varsity, on Church Street, is a grade two listed building which has been fully refurbished thanks to a £2 million investment by Midlands based brewers Banks's.
Tony Worswick and Liesel Derbyshire are the management team at The Varsity.
Tony said: "The interior has been transformed into a split level venue which has to be seen to be believed.
"There isn't anything quite like this in the UK," he added.
Bank's also own The Guild Merchant and The Ribble Pilot pubs in the town.
