IWAS annoyed by the comments made by Coun Bill Goldsmith maligning the teacher ability of Coun Peter Britcliffe (LET, November 21). As an ex-pupil of Moor End Primary School, I was taught by Mr Britcliffe, I must point out that the time and effort he put into projects such as the Christmas productions and his methods of teaching were most enjoyable.
I can only say that Coun Goldsmith should think before making silly criticisms in future, as I am one of hundreds of pupils who have a lot to thank Peter Britcliffe for.
