TOP police officers from all over the country met in Manchester for the first police seminar on AIDS. Representatives from up to 40 forces and probation officers, firemen, ambulancemen, prison officers and police surgeons, doctors and nurses, discussed the problems facing them dealing with AIDS sufferers.
The slogan for the event was 'Knowledge brings confidence.' Experts also discussed the blood disease hepatitis.
