BARNOLDSWICK have signed Australian Bruce Hara as their Vaux Ribblesdale League professional for 1997.
The Canberra Comets all-rounder will replace James Peterson, another British passport holding Aussie.
Hara, 21, is highly rated down under and also turns out for Western District. It is Hara's first professional job in England.
Delighted Barnoldswick secretary Phil Brown said: "It is the seventh consecutive year we've signed an Australian and they've never let us down."
