A POLL tax bill from Pendle Council was sent thousands of mile to South Africa. Helen Waterworth and her professional cricketer boyfriend Craig Norris, had been spending the summer in Colne and winter in South Africa.
And the council said that meant she was required to pay the tax.
The former hairdresser was told that if she was not in Colne for more than six months then she did not have to pay the poll tax.
