A TALENTED song and dance troupe are looking for a songwriter and manager to help them hit the big time.
Best Before have been performing in St Helens and surrounding areas for more than a year now and already have an impressive pedigree in the shape of lead singer Samantha Moores.
Fashion graduate Sam (20), from Cronton Avenue, Whiston, will be known to Star readers as a former winner of our popular 'Young Stars of Tommorow' competition four years ago when she sang Kate Bush's 'The Man With The Child In His Eyes.'
Since then she has gone on to win numerous talent and karaoke competitions, has made a record, and also managed to reach the final audition stages of TV's 'Stars In Their Eyes', just missing out on a screen spot.
Sam told the Star: "The group has four members and all of us are dancers as well as singers. We cover Take That, Spice Girls and Boyzone hits in various venues around St Helens, Liverpool and Widnes.
"We recently competed in a talent show run by the Liverpool Live cable TV channel and we came fourth in that. However, we would really like to start doing our own material and are on the lookout for a manager and songwriter."
Before setting up Best Before, Sam was a member of female trio Sister Act touring pubs and clubs around the country. And she is also a talented keyboard player, a qualified tap dancing instructor and has appeared in numerous pantomime productions.
If you would like to offer your services to Best Before, either as manager or songwriter, you can contact Sam on 0151 426 3357.
