Accrington Stanley 4 Barrow 1
EVEN after conceding a goal as early as the eighth minute, Stanley were not to be denied a place in the ATS semi-final.
Berryman's kick went straight to Marginson who coolly rolled the ball into the net to give Barrow an early lead. From then on the Reds played some of the best football of the season to hammer Barrow into submission.
Robertson, who had an outstanding game, put in a pinpoint cross from the left for Nigel Greenwood to head home to level the scores.
Just after half time Brett Ormerod scored a goal of shear class when he dispossessed the Barrow centre half and advanced to coolly slot the ball past the advancing keeper.
Ten minutes later Greenwood headed the ball to Ormerod who laid back to Edmonds to fire a tremendous low drive in from 20 yards to make it 3-1. Right on time, after the Reds had hit the woodwork several times and brought good saves from the Barrow keeper, Ormerod made it his second of the match and sent Stanley into the semi-finals.
