THE Prime Minister accused left-wingers of helping a potential enemy with their 'utterly despicable' activities in exposing Britain's military secrets. Mrs Thatcher told Young Conservatives at Scarborough that, at a time when freedom was stirring in the Soviet Union, Labour was 'ironically" moving to the left.'
A Gallup poll showed the Conservatives would govern with a working majority of just 14 seats if a General Election was held.
