THE chairman of the parent company of a Blackburn foundry has been awarded an honorary knighthood.
Toshio Arata was made an Honorary Knight Commander to mark his work in strengthening commercial relations between Japan and the UK. Mr Arata is chairman of NSK Ltd which includes the RHP Bearings plant in Blackburn.
