THE "Spaceman" is back - and he landed just in time to fire Bury back towards their First Division target zone.
Ex-Turf Moor favourite Adrian Randall is known as the "Spaceman" by his Bury team-mates, because of his laid-back approach to life, since arriving at Gigg Lane from York City.
Randall has netted two goals in three starts, including Bury's opener against Shrewsbury in midweek.
He said: "I can't do much more, but the manager will probably want more. I have to be pleased with how it's going."
MOST difficult opponents? Adrian Heath had absolutely no doubts when I tabled the question to him this week.
"As a front-man I'd have to say that Mark Lawrenson and Alan Hansen took some beating," he said.
"They were not only great players' in their own rights, but they were absolutely fantastic on the ball.
"They were not typical British defenders. They were very cultured and I always found playing against them extremely hard.
"I remember losing 5-1 to Liverpool at Goodison Park and they were on another planet. It was exhibition stuff and it was like Liverpool playing against a set of lads from the park !
