WILD man of rock Brian Johnson denied rumours that he was to launch a take-over bid for Burnley Football Club.
The millionaire lead singer for heavy metal band AC/DC was linked with the club, which was struggling at the bottom of the Fourth Division.
He was the latest pop star to be linked to the club. Weeks earlier, Phil Collins had been rumoured to be watching the club with a view to making a take-over offer.
