i WAS sorry to read of the resignation of the Luton schoolteacher who allowed a five-year-old pupil to slap alleged bullies with a ruler.
Why? - because if we had more teachers with her courage and common sense, we would then rid our schools of bullying.
The bullies need a taste of their own medicine in front of the whole school because that's what they deserve.
The school management should have supported her. The so-called do-gooders are partly to blame for a lot of the wrong-doings which take place today.
It's time we gave the punishment to fit the crime - it's the only solution.
