HEALTH Secretary William Waldergrave was challenged to step in to ensure that East Lancashire NHS patients got their share of a multi-million pound windfall profits set to be made by a local property developer.
Ribble Valley MP Michael Carr called on the minister to ensure that patients benefited from Mr Gerald Hitman's development of Brockhall Hospital. The developer acquired the freehold of the 50-acre site.
