TWO former classmates have been reunited 15 years on thanks to the Preston Citizen - they have both started working for your favourite weekly newspaper!
Reporter Nicola Jolly, and sales executive Samantha Whalley, both 24, drifted apart after being friends in the same class at Greenlands CP School, Dawnay Road in Ribbleton, Preston.
Now the girls are once again working under the same roof, at the Citizen office on Winckley Court, off Chapel Street.
Nicola joins the Preston Citizen as a reporter after 18 months with sister paper the Chorley Citizen.
Sam joins the advertising team as motor field sales executive. She has just spent 18 months as a car sales executive for Evans Halshaw.
Sam said: "We couldn't believe it when we recognised each other. We've got a lot to catch up on."
