A shock 2-1 home defeat against Leigh Victoria, Leigh & District Amateur Football League's most imporved club, leaves them still searching for one win to take that elusive Division Two title.
Butchers Arms, with an outside chance of taking the crown, remain second after a resounding 5-1 win against lowly Corbett Brewery.
Draw specialists Union B, who have lost fewer games than anyone in the league, won 4-2 at Concert Rovers to move up to fifth spot.
Leigh Phoenix, still chasing the runners-up slot, won 3-2 at New Inn Rangers - another club still harbouring high hopes.
In Division One Leigh Eagles A remain third after beating Rileys 6-2, Three Crowns and Queens played out a 1-1 draw - and stay in the relegation zone.
In the Carl Brown there were Group A wins for Higher Fold Village Inn and Westleigh Village Club, their first victory in the comp, while in Group B Royal Oak needed a last-minute equaliser to snatch a 1-1 draw at Union A.
