POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 46-year-old Morecambe man was threatened at knife-point in the early hours of Monday morning.
The attack took place by a cycle track on Out Moss Lane between 11.45pm Sunday and shortly after midnight.
The victim, who was walking home towards Westgate, was approached by a man who emerged from nearby bushes asking for a light.
He then grabbed and threatened the man with a knife. After a struggle the assailant made off with a wallet, lighter and £15 cash.
The victim was later treated for cuts to his hands and arms at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
The robber was about 20-years-old, slim and wore a baseball cap. Witnesses should call the Police on Lancaster 63333.
