ARNSIDE brothers Wayne and Neill Sisson will be taking part in this weekend's opening round of the British Rally Championship, the Vauxhall Rally of Wales.
It is the second year the brothers have entered the rally and start the season as Junior Champions.
Their group N (showroom specification) Vauxhall Astra GSi is prepared locally at Arnside Motorsport which is owned by local Ford dealer Clive Sisson..
The 23rd running of the Rally of Wales sees the club building on the success of the evening seafront spectacular which has attracted over 5,000 spectators in the past. With most of the 145 stage miles taking part in the infamous forests of Penmachno, Clocaenog and the Sweet Lamb Complex, the New Brighton promenade stage is the best opportunity for rally fans to see the action.
Overall the race covers more than 500 miles through15 stages over two days. The crews will return to the start/finish for the results of the first round of this year's International Mobil1Championship.
