A TODDLER found herself in a tricky situation after getting her arm trapped behind a radiator.
Firemen had to rescue two-year-old Laura Dempsey after she found herself in a fix at her home in Cravendale Avenue, Nelson. Thankfully the central heating wasn't turned on.
She had been sent to her bedroom by parents Frank and Marie for being naughty. They rushed to the room after hearing her cries for help but, despite their efforts, Laura stayed well and truly stuck.
"Somehow she'd managed to get her arm between the radiator and the wall and then twisted it," said Mr Dempsey.
"We tried to get her out but we couldn't get her free.
"The fire brigade managed to lift the radiator enough to get her arm out. She wasn't hurt at all. She's never done anything like that before."
