TWO robbers wearing black balaclavas over their faces attacked a 35-year-old man out walking his dogs.
Detectives have appealed for witnesses to the robbery on playing fields off Thorneyholme Road, Accrington, at 10pm last night.
The victim suffered a bump to his head, and his hands and arms were bruised and swollen. The robbers escaped with £50 from his wallet.
One of the two men began talking to the victim before the other pushed him to floor. Both attackers kicked him in the head and body.
They were white and about 5ft 11in tall. One was stockier than the other and had a Scottish accent.
The slimmer man had a local accent and wore a three-quarter length camouflage jacket.
Police are asking for anyone who saw or heard anything to contact them at Accrington police station on 01254 382141.
