BUSINESSMAN Simon Moyle is to speak to industry leaders about how companies can share profits among employees.
Mr Moyle, chairman of Altham-based uniform and business clothing firm Simon Jersey, will address the Catering Forum Conference on the issue of profit-related pay. The PRP scheme enables firms to give employees a proportion of their salary tax-free, based on the success of the company.
But in the last Budget the Government announced plans to phase it out by the year 2000 and Mr Moyle wrote to the Chancellor to express concern over the plan.
Simon Jersey has won the contract to supply Chelsea Building Society with a range of business wear. The range will be worn by the society's 250 employees in 42 offices.
